Jasmine Perea

Jasmine Tigiqruaq Perea received a B.S. in Environmental Public Health from Alaska Pacific University . During Jasmine’s undergraduate she developed a deep passion for environmental public health and anaerobic digestion technologies turning waste into renewable energy. Jasmine’s undergraduate and current research is testing the applicability of a biogas system in Alaska where the input is dog waste, and the output runs a gas stove and produces biofertilizer. Jasmine was born and raised in Alaska and is passionate about environmental issues around the state, especially in the areas of wastewater.
