Sean Peterson

Sean Peterson holds his M.S. in Environmental Management along with his M.B.A from the University of Maryland, University College. Before joining Zender, Sean worked for over 5 years collecting soil and water samples, managing remediation sites, and conducting environmental investigations. Prior to that, he spent 8.5 years in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician. Sean is a lifelong Alaskan who grew up in the community of Koliganek in the Bristol Bay Area. He is passionate about improving the environmental conditions and protecting the health and subsistence resources in the communities that he spent his childhood in. In his spare time Sean enjoys spending time with his two young children, camping, fishing, and enjoying the remarkable outdoor opportunities that Alaska provides.
