Refrigerant Recovery Training & Technical Assistance
Zender Environmental provides hands-on refrigerant recovery training for individuals & communities who manage small appliances destined for disposal/recycling. Trainings are typically held in Anchorage. Alternatively, in certain cases, Zender staff may travel to perform onsite refrigerant recovery training. Trainings include the following topics:
- Safety,
- Refrigeration cycle & regulations,
- Recommended equipment & tools,
- Recovery techniques,
- Troubleshooting, and
- Labeling & shipping recovered refrigerant
In addition to refrigerant recovery training, Zender Environmental provides free technical assistance for communities looking to manage their end-of-life appliances. Zender can provide guidance in aspects such as:
- Equipment selection & purchase
- Best practices
- Troubleshooting
- Regulatory compliance
- Shipping refrigerant for reclaiming and/or destruction
